[Tutorial] - Replacing Wacom Pen Tip

Description

This is my first tutorial, be it a very simple one, on how to replace your Wacom pen nib.

Personal Notes: The drawing surface that was chosen for recent models has a "paper-like" texture to it for a more organic feel. As this surface feels nice to draw on, it can be quite taxing on your nibs, prematurely wearing them down. To prevent this, I put a screen protector on my drawing tablet that makes the surface silky smooth, preventing scratches and having to ever replace another nib. Some may not like this, but it's quite similar to drawing on a Cintique tablet.

I used: ZAGG - InvisibleSHIELD HD Screen Protector

*I bought mine at Best Buy so I could physically hold and compare the size of the screens to my tablet to make sure I got the right size.

If you get one for your tablet, just make sure that the solid screen-protector area (no holes or cut-outs for buttons) is bigger than your tablet's drawing area so you can Xacto-knife cut it down to your desired dimensions.

*Disclaimer: This is just a guide with a few references. Whatever you do to your products is your responsibility <3

I make my own nibs, but this will be helpful to my friends who don't and need to replace them more often.
